Wednesday, May 5, cancer surgeon David Pearlstone of Easton, in conjunction with CancerCare of Connecticut, will conduct a free workshop on identifying skin abnormalities. Early detection has proven to save lives and can produce up to a 90 percent survival rate or better in patients diagnosed with melanoma.
