Are you and your children opposed to gun use being allowed in our open spaces? If so, join local 9-year old, Kelly and sign her petition.
As future custodians of Fairfield public open spaces, children have intense and valid opinions on this issue, and deserve to be be heard. This petition for kids was written and designed by Kelly, aged 9, resident of Fairfield, who will coordinate and tally signatures herself. (She refers to changes in §10, §24, and §26 of the Fairfield Open Space Regulations, which now permit an individual to "disturb," "injure," or "destroy" wildlife and their "habitat(s)" in "any" of these public places):
