Sand Sculpture Weekend

Penfield Beach is getting even sandier August 5th through the 7th. Sean Fitzpatrick, master sculptor and founder of Fitzy Snowman Sculpting in Saugus, MA is going to create a huge sculpture out of 10 tons of sand! The three days will be filled with lots of activities.
Friday, August 6th will feature CancerCare and Dr. Ivan Cohen and Associates offering free skin cancer screening from 1:30 to 3:30 PM.
Saturday, August 7th, the Police Athletic League is hosting an Amateur Sand Sculpture contest from 1 to 3 PM so that the kids can test their skills. You need to register so get there a little early. Star 99.9 will be there and prizes will be awarded! Also the Subway Subman will be at Jacky Durrell Pavilion with lots of giveaways and fun.
For you yoga lovers Yoga 4 Everybody will be giving $10 classes Saturday and Sunday at 7 AM for new guests who come to the Sand Sculpture weekend.
