Play with Your Food conclude its season this week with a three short productions, including an excerpt from South Pacific, one of the great Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals, and Judgement Call, by Frederick Stroppel. Judgement Call is a comedy by a favorite PWYF playwright, where it's spring and the umpires are getting ready for action. Don Striano heads the cast. South Pacific tells a story of romance against a backdrop of World War II, with music that will take your breath away. Garrett Long, from the recent Broadway revival, plays Navy nurse Nellie Forbush.
The 90-minute event begins at noon with lunch (from Garelick & Herbs), followed by the productions and an interactive talkback with the actors, playwrights and the audience. $43
