Operation Hope, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization formed in 1986 by local citizens concerned about individuals in the community unable to meet their own basic needs of food and shelter. The organization works to end homelessness, one person at a time through support, services and solutions.  For more information on Operation Hope, and how you can help, please call (203)-254-2935, or visit the website OperationHopeCT.org

Now in its third year, the festival was originally staged in May 2006 to benefit musicians affected by Hurricane Katrina.  In 2007, a smaller version of the festival was staged in conjunction with the annual Memorial Day Parade to thank the Fairfield community for supporting local artists and bands who performed at Chef's Table. This year, organizers decided to reset the festival's mission to benefit a worthy group or cause, and Operation Hope welcomed the invitation to participate and bring this event to the community.

As part of the effort to aid Operation Hope, those attending are asked to bring canned goods to donate at the site.  Local businesses also are asked to donate services or funds toward the cause, and those who wish to offer sponsorship are encouraged to call or contact Chef's Table, chefstable.com or 203.255.1779.
