If you have a new puppy or are considering getting one. Don't miss So You're Getting a Puppy, A Health and Behavior Workshop at Southport Veterinary Center.
The session is part of the popular ongoing, monthly series of health and behavior workshops called the Dog Days of Summer.
It's geared towards people with brand new puppies or those considering getting a puppy. You'll discuss training priorities, tips on socialization for the young and energetic puppy, puppy proofing and recommended precautions for the household in order to avoid medical emergencies and tips on what constitutes a medical emergency in puppies.
