A Wild Wine Safari
Help support the Beardsley Zoo by attending the 2008 Wild Wine Safari This not to be missed annual wine-tasting fundraising event for the Zoo will be on Friday, September 5, 2008, 6:30 to 10:00 p.m.

Wine Emporium of Shelton returns this year to coordinate the featured wines. A sample of wines to be poured include: D'Arenberg Dead Arm, Hess Alomi Cabernet, Sterling Single Vineyard Reserve , BR Cohn Olive Grove Cabernet, Murrietta's Well Meritaqge, Wente Nth Degree Chardonnay, Vina Izadi Seleccion Crianza, Venta de don Quiote Sauv. Blanc/Macabeo

You'll tempt your tastebuds with selections such as Pommes Frites and Plantain Fritters – Coconut Curry Bahaman Fish Stew – A Host of International Cheeses – Tempura Twinkies! – Black Truffle Mac and Cheese – Shaved New York Cheddar Crab Cake Taco, Roasted Skirt Steak on Mini Foccacia Rolls, and a decadent Chocolate River with Assorted Tropical Fruits and Desserts.  Catering is provided by The Cantering Caterer of Westport.
