They Sit, You Shop
Suzy thinks this is the greatest step forward for mothers since... Baby Einstein videos.  

Drop your kids off at a non-profit organization and they babysit while you run all of your holiday errands.  It's a win-win:  your kids are entertained while a needy group makes money to carry out their activities.  

Here are the details for upcoming Sitting Sessions:

Kids Stay, Parents Shop

When: Thursday, December 11th, 2008 3:30 - 6 PM

Where: CT Audubon Center, 2325 Burr Street

How much: $10/chid Connecticut Audubon Society Members; $14/child Non-members. Pre-registration required.

The scoop: Kid-free, stress-free shopping arrives just in time for the holidays. Let the CT Audubon staff watch your children while you shop during this busy holiday season. Your children will be entertained with live animals, crafts, snacks and a movie. Appropriate for children 3 years and older: children must be potty-trained and able to stay without an adult. Fairfield Grace Church Youth Group Fun Night for Parents and Kids

What: Evening of games, movies &  fun activities
When: Friday,  December 12th, 5 PM - 10 PM

Parents can drop their children off (ages 3 yrs. & up) at Fairfield Grace — anytime after 5:00pm and pick them up before 10:00pm so you can shop and get ready for Christmas. Their Youth Group kids will organize fun, activities, games, movies, childcare for your children while you get your Christmas  shopping done. Supper & snacks will be provided for the kids.  There is no charge, but since this is a Youth Mission Fundraiser,  donations are  welcome.
