Peace Project
Students create a work of art in any medium, expressing their vision of global peace and goodwill. The students' art will be photographed and displayed in an online gallery. Then if the artist chooses, the student can participate in a global art exchange with an artist from another country. A non-profit organization, Global Art Project, organizes an international exchange by matching participants—group-to-group and individual-to-individual. The exchange occurs biennially with the next exchange occurring in 2010, resulting in thousands of people sending messages of Peace around the world at one time—visions of unity simultaneously encircle the Earth. July 20 & July 21 (1-4 PM)
The art is sent as a gift of global friendship and exhibited in the receiving community.
Course Fee: $125 if you sign up by May 29th, $140 if you sign up after May 29th. For more information: click here
