On Thursday, October 18th, the FTC presents "A Martini and a Movie" with cocktails beginning at 7 PM Cocktails, followed at 8 PM with the movie, "Box of Moonlight".

Connecticut Post entertainment writer Joe Meyers, brings FTC a 1997 indie sleeper that you may have missed during its brief theatrical life. John Turturro ("Romance & Cigarettes") plays a hapless everyman who is wise enough to know something in his life needs to change. He embarks on a return to his childhood vacation spot, meets "off the grid" mountain man (Sam Rockwell) and lovable phone sex operator (Catherine Keener) and he gets his wish. Director Tom DiCillo's ("Living in Oblivion") whimsical comedy is an offbeat original.
