Whole Foods Opens Today!
Suzy will be waiting for the doors to open at Fairfield's Whole Foods at 8:30 AM to check out the 45,000-square-feet of fresh goodness. To celebrate opening day, Whole Foods Market is offering storewide tastings, vendor sampling, special sale items, cooking demonstrations, gift bags and more. Plus, five percent of the total sales for the day will be donated to Wholesome Wave, a local non-profit organization whose mission is to nourish neighborhoods across the U.S. Wholesome Wave‘s founder and CEO, Chef and Fairfielder Michel Nischan, will be leading cooking demos in the store’s Cooking Fairfield department throughout the day. He'll also be signing copies of his latest book, Sustainably Delicious, which includes recipes from and was inspired the Dressing Room Restaurant.

Mathnasium Now Open on the Post Road
Just in time to keep the kids math sharp over the summer, Mathnasium is now open in Fairfield. Mathnasium specializes in teaching kids math the way that makes sense to them. They'll be celebrating with a Grand Opening on June 11th at 11 AM. Local band "Brass Tacks" will be entertaining the crowd along with food, fun, games and drawings (free tuition, Nook...).
