It's not often in this economy that we come across organizations actively seeking charitable causes to donate money to, but we've found one!
The Junior Women’s Club of Fairfield is currently seeking a local organization to receive the funds raised at its 2011 “A Visit to Santa’s House” event. To be considered, an organization must be not-for-profit and in need of financial assistance; based locally (Fairfield, Bridgeport, Easton, or Westport); and offer opportunities for JWC members to partner on causes, events and activities. They're specifically looking for a unique scenario – a group that they can help with money and various drives for needed supplies, but also the opportunity for hands-on service.

Applications must be received by Wednesday, March 16.
The Junior Women’s Club, a non-profit service organization, is open to women in Fairfield and surrounding towns who are 18 years and older.
