The Day After...


On Friday, if shopping is not your thing bring your family and out-of-town guests to the Fairfield Museum where you can celebrate Native American traditions. On Friday, November 28 from 10am – 2pm you can make a corn husk doll (or a whole family) in the Museum's education classroom, listen to fascinating stories and more.

From 10 AM – 12 N, Storyteller Janice Us, of Iroquois and Algonquin descent, will delight the audience with Native American tales from many traditions. You'll learn about the story of the turtle and the beaver, myths about how the world was created and more.

Storytelling is free with admission, $3 charge to make a corn husk doll or Native American rattle. Special offer: Free gift to the first 20 people!
