A Family Fun Day & The Wing Ding Parade For Kids

Have a day of Wing Ding Fun at the Beardsley Zoo on Saturday.
They're hosting a huge festival for kids of all ages. The younger crowd can decorate their own floats, wagons, carriages or simply come in costumes to take part in a colorful parade. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded for various categories. Following the parade, a DJ will be playing kid's favorite music for dancing and sing alongs. Have lunch and stick around for awesome performances and workshops – all free – by clowns, magicians, jugglers and acrobats. There will also be FREE full face painting, tattoos, crafts to make, games to play and exhibitions from local soccer, karate and gymnastics schools.
Registration begins at 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 20th, the parade starts at 11:00 AM SHARP!
Be sure to stop by and visit the C.H.I.P. (child identification program) booth and also the Bridgeport Public Library Bookmobile to get your FREE children's book.
If that's not enough, be sure to visit all the animals and the world famous carousel within the Beardsley Zoo, where the admission will be FREE for all registered parade participants and their families. Kick off this summer with a blast at the Wing Ding!!!
