Nickelodeon's World Wide Day Of Play

Join Nickelodeon as it hosts its sixth annual Worldwide Day of Play on Saturday, September 26th, during which its TV channels and websites will go off air/offline around the world between 12-3PM.
The purpose is encourage kids to get up, get out and get active in their communities. It's an entire day dedicated to the celebration of healthy and active play.

In honor of Worldwide Day of Play, Stepping Stones Museum is partnering with Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum, the Norwalk Historical Commission and Center for Contemporary Printmaking to present a day to help children and their families focus on the importance of a healthy active lifestyle. The event will have a historic focus featuring old time games, sports and other activities all guaranteed to get your family up and moving.
Activities scheduled
10 am - 5 pm: Victorian Lawn Games
10 am - 5 pm: Croquet and Badminton
10 am - noon: Circus and Adventure Skills with Southern Connecticut State University
11 am – noon: Family Performance by Tom Callinan "The Gilded Age"
12:30 & 1:30 pm: Gymnastics Demo with Westport Weston Family Y Exhibition Gymnastic Team
12:30 – 5 pm: Make your own Ball and Cup Game
1 – 3 pm: Old-Time Bicycles with the Wheelmen of CT
1 – 4 pm: Tricycle/Bicycle Art with the Center for Contemporary Printmaking
3 – 5 pm: Karate with Kempo Academy of Martial Arts
