Mothers of tweens won't want to miss this free workshop at the Fairfield Public Library. Girls Inc. - Growing Together, will be offered on Saturday, September 25 from 11 AM - 2 PM for girls ages 9 - 12 with their mothers or female caregivers. This targeted workshop is designed to open communication and establish good parent-child relationships, addressing topics including health, hygiene, anatomy and puberty through fun, interactive activities. The planned activities not only support parents and daughters with communication but also ensure that they keep talking throughout the challenging years of adolescence. If someone is offering advice on dealing with tween and teen age girls, Suzy's ready to listen!
Lunch will be served.
