This Saturday, Feb. 19 at 9 a.m., the pucks will be flying!
The Rinks in Shelton and the Greater Bridgeport Junior Hockey Association (GBJHA) River Hawks will be celebrating Hockey Weekend Across America.
The Free clinic at The Rinks is for children ages 4 to 10 who are new to hockey.
Participants are required to bring a helmet (a bicycle helmet is acceptable), a pair of gloves and a hockey stick if they have it.
The fun includes free skate rentals and a one-hour group skills session with River Hawks certified coaches.
The first 40 participants will get free jersey from USA Hockey and a goodie bag....and, of course, Storm from the Sound Tigers will make an appearance.
