Join the Junior Womens Club
Monday, February 13, 2012
Looking for a good way to give back to the community? You can check out the Junior Women's Club of Fairfield this Wednesday night during a General Meeting. The meeting will feature a check presentation to the club’s charitable beneficiary, The Thomas Merton Family Center, a Bridgeport-based facility that provides high-risk families with food and clothing, along with parental and educational support. Proceeds from the club’s “A Visit to Santa’s House” event last December will go to support the Center and its mission.
The Club will also continue planning for spring projects, including the Town Spelling Bee. Members and guests will also have the opportunity to sign up for upcoming service projects and social activities, including movie nights and mom and tot outings.
