Tired of the beach and pool? The Beardsley Zoo has two special programs this weekend the kids will love. They'll get answers to all their animal questions.
Secret Life of Reptiles
Saturday, August 11th, 12:30 to 1:30 PM
Zoo Educator and reptile specialist Sam Ansaldi will present an interactive family program entitled the 'Secret Life of Reptiles.' Can a turtle leave its shell? Does a snake have teeth? Are there lizards that can change color? Ansaldi will answer these questions and more in Professor Beardsley's Research Station.
Wonders of Africa
Sunday, August 12th, 12:30 to 1:30 PM
Zoo Educator and African wildlife conservationist Jack Thatcher IV will present an interactive family program entitled the 'Wonders of Africa.' Are you interested in what makes a hyena laugh, curious why a zebra has its stripes, or wonder why a warthog's face is so handsome? Thatcher will enlighten you in Professor Beardsley's Research Station.
