A Krafty Pair

With the holiday shopping season gearing up, buy that galpal, sister or teacher a unique piece of homemade jewelry from the Krafty Pair.
Imagine, a business run by two sisters ... and no fighting!

The Andrew Sisters, Amy DeLardi and Katie, always shared creative passions, one of which is designing and handcrafting jewelry. On a girls day trip to the city to shop for beads and supplies in the summer of 2006, they were inspired to launch a company.
"By the end of the train ride home we had our logo and the structure of our business all sketched out," Amy said. "We only fight over the important stuff like color combinations for a necklace or the last cookie at midnight."

By day, Amy and Katie, who grew up in nearby Naugatuck, have their separate careers. Amy, mom to Jake, 7, and Skylar, 4, is a trained multi-media artist. She is the founder and principal of a successful web and graphic design firm (www.infinitewebdesigns.com). Katie, 11 years younger than her big sis, just graduated with her bachelors degree in theatre emphasizing in set design, scenic art and puppetry.

Check out the Krafty Pair's jewelry -- necklaces, bracelets, earrings and bags -- on the duo's website below.
