Family Holiday Happenings This Weekend
Santa Arrives in Southport
Santa and Mrs Claus arrive by Ffld. Police Marine Division boat, to greet children. Enjoy hot chocolate, cider, hot chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Yuletide carols sung and music for all.

When: Saturday, Dec. 15, 1 PM-5 PM, Santa arrives at 2 PM
Where: Ye Yacht Yard, Southport, CT
Suzy's Tip: Last year Santa arrived before 2 PM. Arrive early to avoid disappointment!

"The Snow Story"
Where: Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts at Sacred Heart University

"The Snow Story" is an incredible holiday adventure that builds on the familiar characters from Patty's Place. This production focuses on the misadventures of Stage Door Pops, Milton Mushworth and Dancin' Danny as they try to find the holiday spirit. Young children learn about the holiday traditions of Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa throughout all the crazy antics of these town characters, the band and Patty herself.

"Home for the Holidays"
A holiday show for the whole family telling how the season has been celebrated through the years, from a household in 1940 to the present, including songs of each decade and traditional Christmas carols. Playhouse on the Green is located at 177 State Street, Bridgeport.

When: December 14, 15 - 8 PM, Sunday, December 9 and December 16, 3 PM

Holiday Express Train Show

Where: Fairfield Museum & History Center
When: Weekends, December 1 - December 16, 12N - 4 PM

Come join in this fun-filled family exhibition featuring a variety of scenic train set layouts. Families and children will 'ooh' and 'aah' at the classic trains, antiques and fantastic scenery!

Free admission for museum members and children under age 5.  Adults: $5, students: $3

Winter Festival at the Beardsley Zoo
When: Saturday and Sunday, December 15 and 16th,  10:30 - 11:30 AM or 1 - 2 PM
