Kid's and Money: Earn It, Save It, Spend It! Today at the Library

The Fairfield Children's Library, at 1080 Old Post Road , will be offering a new program entitled "Kids and Money: Earn It, Save It, Spend It!" for children in grades 4 and up. In the program students will learn about earning money and creative ways to start a business, how to make a budget, how to start a bank account, how to "grow' their money by turning hobbies into investments, how to buy savings bonds and stocks, and much, much more!
Leading the program will be author Steve Otfinoski, who has written the children's book "The Kid's Guide to Money" published by Scholastic, Inc. Mr. Otfinoski is an author of over 130 children's books and this book is one of his most popular ones.
Parents are also welcome to attend. Registration is required and may be done by phone or online. Please call the Children's Library at 256-3161 with any questions.
