Ludlowe Corps Concert and Silent Auction to Aid Senegal
For the second straight year, Ludlowe Corps will be taking a small group of students and their parents to Senegal next month where they will learn the culture and help develop an elementary school in this poverty-stricken country.

Ludlowe Corps was created by three Roger Ludlowe Middle School teachers who began by rallying their school and now the community to raise funds for the Senegalese. The group's latest philanthropic effort, a concert, will take place this Saturday.

Date: Saturday, March 8th
Where: Roger Ludlowe Middle School - Auditorium
Time: Doors Open at 7 PM for the auction preview, concert begins at 8 PM
Cost: $10 in advance, $15 at the door
Tickets will be available for purchase M-F 8 AM-3 PM at the main office @ RLMS on Unquowa Rd.

Help support Ludlowe Corps and their trip to Senegal by coming out to this important fundraiser featuring a silent auction followed by a world class performance by Tony Vacca, Massamba Diop, Joe Sallins and Sekou Sylla.

All the evening's proceeds will go towards helping children in Africa.

Vacca, an American born innovative percussionist, has performed with the likes of Sting and Baaba Maal. Diop is one of the most recognized masters of the tama drum keeps company with Baaba Maal, Peter Gabriel, Herbie Hancock and Carlos Santana. Together with Sallins and Sylla, their performances are a spectacular display of rhythm and a world of percussion, demonstrating the power of cross-cultural collaboration.
