American Girl dolls and their proud owners are invited to a free photo shoot and American Girl Back-to-School Party at the Darien Sport Shop on Saturday, September 6, from 11 am until 3pm. Live American Girl models will be on hand with their coordinating dolls to pose with attendees for free photos courtesy of Jack Dog Studios.    This event is the preface for the annual CancerCare of Connecticut American Girl Fashion Show which will be held this year for the first time at the Darien Community Center on Saturday, November 8th (Save the Date!). Tomorrow's preview party at the Darien Sport Shop will include a prize drawing for a collectible Ruthie American Girl doll, refreshments, and a chance to sign up to model in the upcoming show in November. American Girl collectors and enthusiasts are encouraged to bring their favorite dolls and to dress in coordinating attire for their free photo opportunity. The day's events will benefit CancerCare of Connecticut and the Playground by the Sound project in Darien
