A Fall Festival and Craft Fair
The Fairfield Museum and History Center will be hosting their Fall Festival this Sunday from Noon to 4 PM. The event features music, crafters, children's activities and more for a community-wide celebration on Fairfield's historic town green. This year's celebration will honor Native American heritage. Kids will be able to make a Native American craft, listen to a storyteller, and participate in a demonstration of Eagle and Condor dances.  In addition, the Museum will be open free of charge for the whole day.

The Junior Women's Club Fall Festival will be taking place at the same time featuring exhibits and activities that cater to all ages and interests. In addition to the annual array of unique, handmade crafts, there will be live interactive entertainment and crafts for children, an autumn plant and vegetable sale, a mouth-watering bake sale and a raffle including many of the items created by the Junior Women's Club's talented vendors. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. rain or shine.  For those planning ahead for the holidays, talented silhouette artist Deborah O'Connor will be on hand creating her unique and incredibly accurate silhouettes. For those in need of relaxation, Massage Envy will have their chairs at the ready.

Food vendors on hand at both events will include Kettle Corn, Super Duper Weenie, The Flying Dish, and Wright's Ice Cream – perfect for family picnics. For those with a sweet tooth, JWC members will provide a wide variety of family favorites, including brownies, cookies, and muffins, for sale at their bake sale booth.

The Junior Women's Club is proud to present live entertainment from The Little Gym, Mary Ann Hall's Music for Children, henna artist Dinal Doshi and other talented musicians. Seasonal craft-making opportunities will also be available for children including card making for our Troops.
