How many times have your kids asked you about snow and where it comes from? What makes up a snowflake?
For the answer, take the family to the CT Audubon workshop, "Winter Art and Science: Snow Globes" and explore the science behind the beauty of a snowy winter wonderland. Discover how crystals and snowflakes are formed and then make your own winter-scene snow globes.
When: Saturday, January 17th, 10:30 - 11:30 PM
Where: The Birdcraft Museum and Sanctuary, CT Audubon
Advance registration is required. Program fee: $9/person (family maximum $12) for Connecticut Audubon Society Members and $13/person (family maximum) Non-Members.
