Susan G. Komen for the Cure Connecticut, in partnership with HOME Magazine is proud to present its first show home in Connecticut, open April 12- April 22, 2007 to support research and programs for the education, screening and treatment of breast cancer.
Before breaking ground in Westport, Connecticut for the Build for the Cure, HOME Magazine asked a group of working and stay-at-home mothers, including several breast cancer survivors, how they would improve their existing homes. This special focus group provided a host of smart design suggestions that are featured in the Show Home.
Designed by Robert Storm Architects, the Build for the Cure Show Home spotlights advancements in amenities that make home life easier, healthier and more productive. HOME Magazine then joined with Coastal Construction Group to create this elegant stone and shingle, colonial revival home situated on 2.2 acres in beautiful Westport. The residence contains 9,000 square feet of living space on three floors with everything for a family from childrens play space to a sumptuous bath/spa for the lady of the house.

You may purchase in advance $15 boxed lunch from Garelick and Herbs which includes:
a choice of three wraps (one vegetarian), side dish, dessert and beverage.
Tickets
$30 per person in advance; $35 per person at the door.

*Parking on Clapboard Hill Road is limited to one side of the street. Carpooling is strongly suggested.
*Tickets are non-refundable and non transferable after initial visit.
