The Fairfield County Children's Choir conducts auditions beginning tomorrow, April 12th.
The FCCC, in its 11th season, is a community-based choral program made up of over 220 children in grades 4 thru 12 from communities in Fairfield County.
The Children's Choir program provides instruction in vocal and choral technique, music literacy and the appreciation of music through the practice and performance .
The FCCC has performed throughout New England as well as in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Maryland, New Orleans, San Francisco, Canada and has a trip planned to Europe this summer.
Suzy's galpal Joanne says "it's been an amazing, defining experience for my daughter. The kids get a voice lesson every week.. Very upscale, classy with high expectations, " she said. "This is wonderful for kids of all ages."
Conveniently, the FCCC rehearses right in our neighborhood at Fairfield Woods Middle School. Kids can audition for one of the four choirs starting in spring of 3rd grade.
