Naugatuck Railroad
Forget Metro-North, take the kids on an authentic railroad trip through history on the Naugatuck Railroad.

Travel in vintage, restored 1920s coaches from the historic Thomaston station through the Mattatuck State Forest to the Brass Mills of Waterbury and back to the spectacular Thomaston Dam. Pass by rock outcroppings, rushing water, bridges during the 20-mile round trip that takes one hour and 15 minutes.
