Go North I Say
Tuesday, March 20, 2007
The Milford Mall is easy to overlook and sounds farther away than it truly is.
This shopping addict strongly recommends you head north to the "Westfield Connecticut Post". (Suzy thinks that's too formal a name for a shopping center so she'll refer to it as the Milford Mall).
Located off I-95 at Exit 39B (1201 Boston Post Road), the MM is anchored by Macy's and Sears and has a great assortment of your typical mall standards (Gap, Children's Place, Express) It also boasts stores not found close by like H&M (who knew?) and Dicks's Sporting Goods.
Suzy's Tip: shop the Target within the mall. It has a much better selection than the Trumbull or Stamford branches.
For lunch, try Panera Bread, a yummy spot offering terrific sandwiches, salads and soup with cozy fireplaces and free Wi-Fi.
P.S. Also in the neighborhood is Costco, Old Navy, Babies "R" Us and opening soon: Golf Galaxy.
