Suzy is so happy that fashionably savvy Patrick, previously with H&M, and Thomas, an international model, decided to design children's shoes after they were shopping for Thomas' nephew, Vincent, and couldn't find anything that appealed to them. In August 1999, Patrick and Thomas opened Vincent Shoe Store in Stockholm selling kids' shoes that are fashionable, high quality and reasonably priced. They are inspired by the runway fashions from Paris, Milan, London and New York, though the shoes are 100 percent focused on kids. The fall/winter and spring/summer collections range from soft pre-walkers and comfortable indoor shoes to day and dress shoes as well as boots for girls and boys up to about age 8.
Suzy went for the new "Jarl" rain boot ($39.95) that is so durable, waterproof and comfortable for her 6 year old. The boots will be great through late fall and again in the spring in New England and the Midwest. For warmer climates, they're perfect for three seasons.
