A Sailing Regatta To Support St. Vincent's Swim Across The Sound
Help to Raise Funds To Fight Cancer.

Fayerweather Yacht Club, Housatonic Boat Club and Black Rock Yacht Club are co-sponsoring the 2009 Park City Regatta. The Regatta takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2009 in the waters off Black Rock Harbor.  The event consists of up to two races, depending on conditions. There will be Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker PHRF Classes and, with sufficient entries, one design classes. One-design racers, junior sailors, and boats with all-women crews are encouraged to race.

A Fun Sail Event is planned for sailors not wishing to race a course. Clues will be provided for these boats to navigate. Each buoy rounded will contain a "CLUE", and after rounding all buoys, crews will try to solve a puzzle. The Fun Sail Event will begin at about 12:00 noon near "2A" on the regatta day of Saturday, July 18th .

All proceeds from the Park City Regatta will be utilized to support the Swim Across the Sound - St. Vincent's Foundation - Free Mammography Screening Program. This is a program, which could reach potentially any woman in Fairfield County without insurance or funds adequate to pay for a mammography screening
