Pequot Library's 49th Annual Book Sale begins Friday, July 24, at 9 a.m.and runs through Tuesday, July 28th. The sale, one of the largest and longest-continuously-running book sales in the nation offers over 140,000 books, CDs, DVDs, prints, and many other items.
Don't miss this well-loved Fairfield area summer tradition and the major annual fund-raiser for the Library. Every imaginable kind of book can be found at the sale: from serious scholarship to breezy summer reading and everything in between. Perennial favorites include novels, biographies, non-fiction, a huge selection of children's books and the classics of American and European literature.

Sunday July 26th is Young Readers Day with a free concert by The Hallaballoos" - the Hall Family - and the staff of Mary Ann Hall's Music for Children, crafts, and every child who comes dressed as their favorite story book character gets a free book from the Children's Section.
