Jr. Women's Lazy Days of Summer Dinner
Thursday, August 13, 2009

Enjoying the summer but looking ahead for ways to contribute to the community and meet new people? Then roll up your beach towel, toss aside your paperback and head to the Junior Women's Club of Fairfield's annual "Lazy Days of Summer Dinner," scheduled at a member's home for Thursday, August 13 at 7:30 p.m.
With its casual backyard atmosphere and potluck charm, the lazy days dinner is the perfect chance to learn more about the JWC, a non-profit service organization whose activities include "A Visit to Santa's House" and the Townwide Spelling Bee for fifth-graders. Get the skinny on the club's newest fundraiser—a kid-friendly "Touch A Truck" scheduled for September—and learn more about our mom and tot outings, book club and other social events. Bring a friend if you'd like, as well as a small children's board book for our charitable partner, Brady's Smile, a Fairfield-based organization that supports families with children who are in the PICU or NICU.
