Touch a Truck

Kids will get their kicks during the Junior Women's Club of Fairfield, Touch A Truck family event this Sunday. They'll be able to climb aboard a cement mixer, peer inside a police cruiser and even squeeze into a Smart Car.

The event will also feature food vendors, a vehicle play area for the little ones, and more. Proceeds to benefit scholarships for Fairfield high school students.  

Sunday, September 20th from Noon - 4 PM

Event highlights include:
•   Truck-themed Story Time:  Librarians from the Fairfield Public Library will read favorite truck stories during regular story times held throughout the day along with offering applications for young readers to obtain their first library cards!

•   Incredible Kids Corner:  Stop by for fantastic face painting, terrific tattoos, a bounce in the bounce house, great games and more…..   all included with admission!

•   JWC's famous Bake Sale!  Including out-of-this world caramel popcorn, fresh cotton candy, Hinkle's Twinkles gourmet truck cookies and more!!

•   Ron's Old Fashioned Good Humor Ice Cream Truck offering all of your favorite cold treats!

•   Personalized construction hats!  Kids can don personalized hard hats as they wander around the "site" and climb aboard the vehicles.

•   Amazing raffles!  A chance to win a kid-size, battery-operated vehicle and other fun prizes!

•   Get your motor running to Classic Rock tunes by 95.9 The Fox!

Admission: $5 per person ages 1 and up; max. $20 per family

Raindate is Sunday, September 27, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
