Memorial Day in Fairfield
Can you believe Memorial Day is only one week away?  It's one of Suzy's favorite days of the year in Fairfield.  Here's the skinny on what's happening around town.

Pancake Breakfast, St. Paul's Episcopal Church
7:30-11:30AM
This popular annual event is run by the men of St. Paul's.  Enjoy breakfast and then head out to the parade

All proceeds raised go to outreach. Past years' recipients have been Habitat for Humanity; Operation Hope; Bishop Curry's malaria prevention project (mosquito netting to people in Mozambique); Holy Trinity Elementary School in Port au-Prince, Haiti and Fairfield's "Whels of Hope" bicycle program.

Memorial Day Parade
10AM
Get put on your red-white-and-blue finest and cheer on our local veterans, ball players, girl & boy scouts during this annual town-wide celebration.  The parade starts on the Post Road at South Pine Creek and finishes at the Town Hall on Old Post Road.

Memorial Day Community Picnic at Fairfield Museum
12PM to 2 PM
Continue the fun after the parade at the Fairfield Museum and History Center!  Bring your blankets and picnic for an afternoon of games and fun.  Try your hand at some water-balloon games, enjoy sack races or pick a partner for the three-legged race. Free for all.
