Celebrate America Recycles Day by bringing your junk to the Beardsley Zoo this Sunday. Bring in your gently used shoes for the Soles for Souls program. Your shoes will be donated to people in need around the world. Do you have sneakers that are in bad shape? - bring them in and Nike Re-use a shoe will recycle them into flooring for athletic courts. E-junk can go into their giant Green Trash Can - it will be accepting: zip disks, diskettes, CD's CD-Rs, CD-RWs, DVD's, video tape, audio tape, game cartridges, DAT, DLT, Beta or Digibets, hard drives, Zipp drives, Jazz drives, jump drives, printer cartridges, cell phones, pagers, PDA's, chargers, cables and headset accessories. You'll receive $1 off admission if you bring something to recycle, limit one discounted admission per person.
