Buzz of the Week: J. McLaughlin Celebrates Their Grand Opening in Westport

The name J. McLaughlin is synonymous with classic clothing and accessories for women and men. On November 1st this recognized retail industry leader opened its newest store at 1026 Post Road East in Westport, CT. This is the newest of 45 locations nationwide providing purebred, premium quality clothing for those who enjoy season-less American sportswear.
The Westport store is 5500 square feet and a departure from a typical J. McLaughlin store. The space features multiple “shops in shop,” within the larger space, including areas for equestrian, resort, urban, children’s and men’s inspired accessories and apparel, and a living room area complete with fireplace for customers to enjoy a cup coffee.
On Sunday, December 12th, from 12-4 PM the masterminds behind the brand, Jay and Kevin McLaughlin and Steve Siegler, invite the community to celebrate the new store opening with a day of fun for the whole family. The kids can enjoy cookie decorating and pictures with Santa while the adults can indulge in treats and refreshments by Kelsey Banfield, The Naptime Chef and shopping for the perfect Holiday Gifts. Fifteen percent of proceeds from the event will benefit the Westport Green Village Initiative.
