MONSTER MASK MAKING
When: Friday, October 26, 4 " 5:30 PM
Where: Fairfield Museum and History Center
Create a large mask inspired by all kinds of creatures using cardboard, glue, collage materials, tapes and natural materials.
Workshop is for ages 7-11.
$45 for museum members, $60 non-members

The Audubon's Enchanted Forest
When: Friday, October 26, 5:30 " 8 PM
Put on your costume and join the Connecticut Audubon Society for a guided walk through their Enchanted Forest discovering the creatures that are awake at night. This annual Halloween event is a fun, safe and low-key way to celebrate the autumn season. Before or after your walk, go inside for games, crafts, refreshments.
Guided walks leave on the half hour starting at 5:30 p.m.(5:30, 6, 6:30, 7, 7:30 p.m.). Call to reserve your space: 203-259-6305, ext. 109. Program held rain or moonshine. All proceeds support our education programs. Pre-registration is required. Payment required at time of registration. Children must be accompanied by an adult. ENCHANTED CASTLE IN FAIRFIELD
The Enchanted Castle, will be held at the Burr Mansion in Fairfield from October 20th through the 30th. Children and their families are invited to tour six fantasy theme rooms where they will interact with costumed characters.
The event is fully accessible for children of all abilities ages 2-9 with an adult. (No strollers, please). For dates and times, please check the calendar below or call 203-336-7364. This event is sponsored by The Auxiliary of Ahlbin Centers, a non-profit organization.

PUMPKIN PICKING
Grab a wagon and head into the pumpkin patch to pick the perfect pumpkin. Hay rides and apple cider add to the fun.

STEW LEONARD'S ANNUAL HAYRIDE SPOOKTACULAR
Fifteen-minute family-friendly hayride 25 different vignettes, ranging from scenes of popular movie and TV characters to traditional holiday settings, which illuminate to a choreographed musical light show. Event runs thru October 28th. The Garden Shop becomes a sea of orange, as 50,000 Connecticut-grown pumpkins arrive, along with Halloween decorations, corn stalks and hay bales. Every Friday night Stew Leonards will show a Halloween move in the outdoor "Hay Bale" Theater and serve free hot chocolate, warm apple cider and popcorn. No cost to attend and movies start at 7 PM.
On Halloween, children can trick or treat in the store and receive free ice cream if they are in costume.
Located on Westport Avenue in Norwalk. Cost for the hayride is $1 per person.
"SOMETHING IS WICKED IN WESTPORT"
A haunted house to benefit the Westport Historical Society
When: Friday and Saturday, October 26 & 27, 7 PM - 10 PM
Where: Located in the Post Plaza in Westport (next to Barnes and Noble), this promises to be the experience of an 'after-lifetime.' Ghouls and fiends alike abound in ghastly event not to be missed.
Appropriate for adults and children over age 10. Admission to this house of terrors is $10. Not recommended for younger children. For information, call 203-222-1424 or email sgold@westporthistory.org. Proceeds support the educational programs of the Westport Historical Society.
FAMILY PUMPKIN FUN AT PEQUOT LIBRARY
When: Saturday, October 27th, 1:30 - 3 PM
Where: Pequot Library, Southport
Come carve your family pumpkins on Pequot Library's Great Lawn because the Library cleans up! Bring your own pumpkins and a sharp knife to cut the lids. We'll provide the carving tools and stencils " plus snacks and 'spooky' songs.

SPOOKY STROLL

Ghosts, witches and muggles are invited to follow a costumed guide through Fairfield's legendary Town Green and the Old Burying Ground. Learn about the myths, legends and superstitions of lore including stores of Fairfield's witches. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Come in costume and celebrate the spookiest holiday of all! Why did the goblin cross the road? He wanted to hear Artistic Director Tazewell Thompson read spooooooky stories and tell spooooooky jokes in our spooooooky Halloween extravaganza. Join in a Halloween Costume Parade while dancing to songs like Monster Mash and Ghostbusters.
