An April Vacation Camp for Freestylers

If your son or daughter loves skiing or snowboarding, this spring ski camp sounds like a dream.
Ski Sundown's April Freestyle Camp
Dates: Monday-Friday, April 14-18 & April 21-25
Post-season, on snow and 5 days of vacation fun! Skiers and snowboarders ages 8 and older receive individualized instruction on terrain features in the specially created terrain park on the mountain. Guest coaches team up with local professionals to provide the best possible training for "jibbers" of all ability levels.
Fourteen trails of snow, moved to the terrain park on Stinger for two one-week sessions of coaching on terrain features! Now in its 3rd season, Ski Sundown's dedicated terrain park crew is gearing up to offer its best work to date for the 2008 April Camp! They will create a one-of-a-kind park with features ranging from buttery boxes to grown-up sized wall rides and kickers. Notable coaches include past April Camp coaches from Line Skis and Mount Snow's Judge Dave Lemelin.
The set up will include everything a skier or snowboarder needs to learn for that first "180" or how to cork that "5" around a little more off axis. Want technical jibbing prowess added to your repertoire? Sundown's "big jibs" will all be out! Everything from the Man-Bow and Wall Ride, the 40 foot dub kinks and others. Feeling un-natural slides are your focus? 16 foot flat bars and boxes will offer just enough jibbage to lock it in before taking it to bigger features. Never jibbed but have the week off? Rollers and bonks are the best introduction and the 2008 April Camp Park will be stuffed with them. This park will be 100% jib and jump and fun!
Session 1 - April 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 2008
Session 2 - April 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 2008
$475 includes daily coaching with videography, lift access from 8am until 3pm and lunch. Call 860-379-7669 for more information and to register.

Must have own equipment and helmets are required.
