Happy Anniversary Hands on Pottery!
Wednesday, May 28, 2008

Suzy can't believe she's been taking the kids to Hands On Pottery for 10 years!
Let's join Dawn and the crew as they celebrate this month.
Hands On Pottery is truly one of Fairfield's favorite family destinations for creative fun. They've scheduled several anniversary events, so take out your calendars and make note.
The kick-off on June 22nd from 12- 4PM is billed as a "Family Sundae Afternoon". Families are invited to an outdoor tent event to paint expressions of creativity for HOP's community tile wall. Hot dogs and ice cream sundaes will be served – all free of charge.
On June 26th from 7-9 PM, wine lovers are invited to Hands on Pottery for free studio time and to design and paint a wine glass coaster (additional pottery items sold separately). Local merchant, Twisted Vine, will be pouring an exciting array of summer wines and HOP will be providing a cheese tasting that pairs with Mike's wine selections. Limited space is available for this event; please RSVP at www.twistedvinefairfield.com.
There is a $25 fee to cover the cost of the wine, payable to Twisted Vine.
Hands on Pottery was started by lifelong Fairfield resident Dawn Cobb and opened on June 1st, 1998. Since then, the two kilns in the Fairfield location have fired pottery for over 25,000 children (we're not kidding you!) - either studio painting with their families, at parties or vacation camps. Hands on Pottery also hosts after school painting at many of the Fairfield elementary schools, as well as summer camps and clubs throughout Fairfield County. Over the past decade, Dawn and her Hands on Pottery team have been actively involved in contributing to the success of over 100 select charitable organizationin Fairfield and throughout the county.
Let's wish them another 10 years of success!
Both events will be held at Hands on Pottery
1700 Post Rd.
