A Walk In Memory
Sunday, September 28, 2008

Suzy received an email about the Memory Walk at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk this coming weekend, and included was information about a non-profit organization started by a local 17 year old boy called rememberalzheimers.org
The nonprofit was started in honor of his grandmother, now in the end stages of Alzheimers Disease.
Let's support this altruistic teen!
Walk information:
Sunday 10/5
Calf Pasture Beach, Norwalk
Registration Begins:9 AM
Memory Walk Begins:10 AM (1.5 - 3 miles)
If you can't walk, consider purchasing a bracelet from Charlie at rememberalzheimers.org

Here are some sobering facts:
Currently more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's. Unless we find a way to change the course of the disease, 16 million Americans will have Alzheimer's by 2050.
Memory Walk funds help the Alzheimer's Association advance important research into better treatments and a possible cure for Alzheimer's. And for the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
