The "Cruise to Paradise" to be held at FTC's Stage One will feature a  "cruise itinerary" of music and will include sets from renowned Jamaican reggae artist Mystic Bowie, Laura Volpintesta who features a Brazilian sound, Renard Boissiere from New Orleans, Jay Stollman who hails from New York City and local musicians; Barry Blumenfield, Kim Manning,  Sam Weiser, Scott Lebish, Rob Somerville, Suzanne Sherman Propp, Tim Dehuff, Jerry Vigorito, and Rob Fried.

The Susan Fund was established in 1982 in honor of the memory of Susan Davis Lloyd who attended Staples High School when she was diagnosed with osteogenic sarcoma.  This scholarship program has benefited numerous Fairfield County students each year and has grown dramatically since its inception.

The MiMa Music School fund was formed to build a non-profit music school for the children in the neighborhood of Mystic Bowie in Jamaica, so local children can be enriched with the enjoyment of music and have the opportunity to learn an instrument.

Feeding hundreds of local families each day is the Black Rock Food Pantry. The pantry is located on the corner of Fairfield Avenue and Princeton Street in Black Rock.  One hundred percent of donations go directly to feed local families; they do not incur any administrative costs.  Canned food donations will be collected at the event.
