The registration deadline for one of Suzy's favorite camps is fast approaching.
Missoula Children's Theatre, the young people's summer theatre program offers six sessions and five different productions to choose from. They only take 60 kids from grades 1-12 each week. Children must be 6 years old by July 1, 2009, and entering first grade in the fall in order to enroll. Registration for camp is done via lottery. To be eligible for the lottery, the Quick Center Box Office MUST receive the Registration Form before 2 p.m., Wed., Mar. 11. Registration Forms received after 2 p.m., Wed., Mar. 11, will be added to the waiting list after the lottery process is complete. The registration lottery will take place in the Kelley Theatre at the Quick Center at 5 p.m., Wed., Mar. 11, 2009 (attendance NOT necessary).
Every child is cast in a role and performs in the big show on Friday evening of their camp week.
The tuition fee is $275 ($250 per additional child in the same family) and includes the full week's program, all classes and workshops, and a Quick Center t-shirt. A professional DVD of the child's performance is also available for an additional charge of $35 per DVD (includes shipping and handling).
