Cancer Survivor and Connecticut resident Michael Murray is hosting his third Bone Marrow Drive on Saturday, May 9th.
Michael is asking all residents in Connecticut to please join him at The Gaelic-American Irish Club - 74 Beach Road in Fairfield, CT on Saturday, May 9, 2009 from Noon to 4:00 p.m. Get down there to honor all mothers in Connecticut by signing up and becoming a donor through The National Marrow Donor Program Registry.
Right now patients of every race and ethnic background in Connecticut are searching for bone marrow donors in order to survive. With your help this can happen. To register you need to be between the ages of 18 and 60, be willing to donate to any patient in need, meet the health guidelines and get a simple cheek swab. All it takes is 15 minutes of your time to help save a life!
Registration if FREE! Your tissue typing is covered by your health insurance or by the Michael's Fund in Fall River, MA.
