Waiting For Superman
Friday, September 24, 2010
Tens of thousands of people have already pledged to see the upcoming film "Waiting For Superman" which premieres in theaters on September 24th. If you haven't heard about this movie, you will. It's a powerful film which explores the current state of public education in the US, its effect on our children, and the movement of reform that is striving to change the outcome for many.
An innovative cause marketing platform has emerged in support of the film and more importantly our public schools. Right now, you can log onto the "Waiting For Superman" website and pledge to see the film in theaters. For every pledge, you will receive a $5 gift code to give to a classroom project of your choice through the DonorsChoose.org site.
At DonorsChoose.org, there are hundreds of classroom projects across the US which need our help including three (2) innovative projects in the Bridgeport schools.
So visit the site, make a pledge, and learn more about how you can help save our schools.
