Service Saturdays for Teens

Do you have a teen that would like to complete community service hours for school, religious organizations, clubs or any other purpose? Giving back to the Fairfield Public Library is the perfect way to serve.
Service Saturdays is an ongoing volunteer program occurs on the first Saturday of the month during the school year at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Teens will assist in various tasks, including organizing and caring for collections, preparing for programs, and general clerical work. Jobs are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
No registration is required. Teens should check in with the volunteer coordinator in the Teen Room to receive job assignments. They should bring any applicable paperwork with them at the beginning of the day. Please contact the Teen Services Librarian at 255-7394 or with questions.
