Shakespeare at the Zoo

Connecticut Free Shakespeare celebrates its 10th anniversary at Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo by presenting William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." The Zoo's Picnic Grove opens at 6:30 p.m. for you to enjoy picnic dinners brought from home, or purchased from the Zoo's concession stands. Be sure to pack your blankets and lawn chairs.
The shows are held at the Peacock Pavilion; rain location is the Carousel. The real bonus? All performances are FREE.
When: July 17-19 and 22-26, and July 29-Aug. 1, with a special guest star at each performance.
Time: The performance begins at 8:00 pm, while the Zoo opens for picnics at 6:30 pm.
