Here's an activity to whet your appetite for beach, bikinis and beer...
The sixth annual Castles in the Sand build-a-thon at Compo Beach in Westport. Bring the kids and check out the enormous sand castles and anything else people deem buildable. Proceeds from the lot sales benefit the Interfaith Housing Association, supporting the homeless and neighbors in need.
Where: Compo Beach, Westport
When: 12 Noon - 4 PM
Compo Beach parking fees for attendees are waived for the day of the event.
