Hope For Haiti Fundraiser at the Little Gym

On Friday, February 19th, the Little Gym is holding a fundraiser to benefit Holy Trinity School in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Children ages 2 - 10 are invited to join the fun and support a terrific cause. The suggested donation is $10/child. There will be snacks, entertainment and a raffle.

Trinity in Motion is a participatory fellowship event to raise funds to support the Holy Trinity School in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The larger mission of this event is to unite together as a community to respond to human need, demonstrate solidarity with a large and largely destitute Episcopal community, and to raise awareness of the inspiring work being performed at the Holy Trinity School.
It costs $550 per year to educate a child! Due to poverty and social chaos, many parents go to the school for support. There are children who arrive at Holy Trinity School without having had eaten. Meals are provided to some who might otherwise go hungry.
About Holy Trinity School:
The school was founded in 1927 on the grounds of Holy Trinity Cathedral by the Sisters of Saint Margaret, an Episcopal order of nuns based in Boston. In addition to providing and excellent education and a preparation for secondary school, Holy Trinity School hopes to make the children agents of change in a highly troubled nation. In 1963 a music school was added which has gained international recognition and acclaim. Over 1300 students attend the primary school, and 1000 children attend the music school. In 1976 a trade school was added.
